About a week ago, on July 6, nineteen WABI-ists gathered on a hot summer day in a shady spot in Gregory Heights.
We walked through the neighborhood down the hill, then along the south-facing, sunrise portion of the Indian Trail to Three Tree Point, and the public access points.
Down at the point, we stopped at the public access point that looks out to Normandy Park, Des Moines and Mt. Rainier. Then we went to the divers’ hot spot public access point, by the old store. We went back up the sunset portion, facing west, then turned around and did the trail walk all over again, in reverse!
