What a BEAUTIFUL day for a Walk-n-Talk here in Burien today! There were 22 of us (one was four-legged) that met at the Boulevard Park Library for the Stone House Walk.

Along the way we were amused by all the “crossing signs” we found… here in Burien!

  • Horse crossing
  • Donkey crossing
  • Doberman crossing
  • Great dane crossing

We walked the route, marveled at the stone houses and were lucky to talk to the homeowners of the first house along the way! What a bonus. They’ve been in their home for over 20 years and spoke of the Italian man that had lived across the street and helped “pick rocks” for the house when he was just a kid.

Along with the many “regulars” that came to walk today, we had three new folks that came along… and will probably be back again. What a dear group of people. We’re all very fluid and the conversations shift along the walking path. Come join us!

At one point we were all “stranded” on a traffic triangle in the middle of the intersection.

We ended our sunny spring walk with the admonition to “Please keep to the walks.”
