The WABI Weekday Walkers head north on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 9 am to see the beautiful Sound views of Shorewood. After meeting at 26th and 116th, we’ll visit a Burien park called (surprise) Shorewood Park that, despite its small size, has a lovely trail through the woods. After strolling down to the water view, we’ll head back up the hill — be warned, it’s a bit steep. Like all WABI walks, just take it at your own pace. The walk is a little over 2 miles.

Time: Meet 5-10 minutes before 9:00 so we can start walking promptly at 9:00 am.
Meeting Place: Meet at the corner of 26th Ave SW and SW 116th Street, by the Westside Foursquare Church.
Parking: Please do NOT park in the church lot. There is ample street parking.
Directions: From downtown Burien, take Ambaum Blvd SW north. Turn left (west) at the stoplight at SW 116th Street. Head west several blocks to 26th Ave SW.
