It’s March and spring is here!  Did you know Burien has a community garden?  Come discover this secret garden as the daffodils and green onions start poking up. Join WABI Weekday Walkers on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:15.   We’ll also visit Dottie Harper Park,  Linde Hill Park and Chelsea Park.

Fun fact: There is no hill at Linde Hill, a tiny secret garden with its own duck  pond.  Instead, it’s named after a guy named Hill:  O.R. Linde was a land developer and the owner of the South Seattle Land Company, and Clark Hill was the sales manager who helped plat and develop portions of Burien.

See a map of the walk, below, and print a copy to bring with you.

Meeting Time and Location
Note our new later meeting time: gather around 9:15 am so we can leave promptly at 9:30 am. Our meeting place will be at Grand Central Bakery, 626 SW 152nd Street in downtown Burien.  Starting in April, we will be meeting in other locations.
