Join WABI Weekday Walkers for a Burien Parks trio on Wednesday, July 19 at 9 am.  We’ll walk in northern Burien  and enjoy three neighborhood parks: Puget Sound Park, Hazel Valley Park, and Arbor Lake Park.

Date: Wednesday, July 19, 2017  (always the third Weds of the month)
Time: 9 am.  Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start walking promptly at 9.
Where: Meet at Puget Sound Park, 135 SW 126th Street
Note:  Although this park is at the corner of 1st Ave. S and SW 128 St., you cannot access the park from  1st Ave S.  Instead, from 1st Ave S, turn left (west) on SW 128th St., then turn right (north) on 4th Ave SW, then right (east) on SW 126th St.  Pass by Hazel Valley Park and park in Puget Sound Park’s ample parking lot.
Distance: About 2.75 miles, round trip, mostly flat, with a small elevation between Arbor Lake Park and 1st Ave. S.

Route

We’ll start our walk at Puget Sound Park, make a northern loop around several blocks then pass by Hazel Valley Park. We’ll take the foot bridge up and over 1st Avenue South, then head north and west to Arbor Lake Park. From there we’ll head east, south, then back west, returning back to Puget Sound Park..
