Our walking friends up north, the Seattle Striders (Seattle Parks & Recreation), have decided to visit the Sunny South (County) for their special annual three days of 10-mile walks. WABI Burien has been assisting with planning for the two Burien walks; the third walk is in Tukwila along the Green River Trail. Although these three walks are not sponsored by WABI, Burien folks are welcome to participate in one, two or all three walks. Does ten miles sound daunting? A walk leader from Seattle Striders reassures that “we take breaks… and we always end with a happy hour!”

Rough map of 3 walks

(The above map gives an approximation of the currently-planned routes for the three walks.
These routes will be finalized and posted on  Seattle Striders’ website before the final walk dates, and will also be available at meeting places on walk days.)
